About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the readiness of autonomous test vehicles for daily operations. The associate will manage vehicle logistics, perform routine maintenance, prepare vehicles for missions by launching and verifying software, and assist with documentation and compliance. The position also involves hands-on technical support and general testing operations, including setup and traffic control. The role requires a team-oriented mindset, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in operations, logistics, automotive, or a related field
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a “get it done” attitude and commitment to safety
  • Comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and being active throughout your shift

Nice To Haves

  • Technical trade school certification or Associate degree in automotive repair
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Office/Google Workspace
  • Background in fast-paced, operational environments

Responsibilities

  • Drive on-time vehicle readiness for daily testing and service operations across multiple locations
  • Ensure vehicles, equipment, and workspaces are clean, organized, and operationally ready
  • Support vehicle logistics, including movement, staging, and storage of vehicles and equipment
  • Perform routine charging of test vehicles and supporting systems
  • Execute mission preparation procedures, including launching and verifying software, validating hardware/software configurations, deploying updates, and capturing operational data
  • Escalate issues quickly and effectively
  • Assist with documentation and compliance to meet regulatory requirements
  • Support incident response and vehicle recovery efforts when needed
  • Maintain spare parts inventory readiness, including organization and transport
  • Provide hands-on technical support (fluid changes, part replacements, wiring checks, etc.)
  • Assist with general testing operations, including pre-mission setup and documentation, cone courses, obstacle setup, traffic control, and vehicle driving support
