About The Position

Autonomous vehicle safety driver needed for Dallas Texas full time $25 per hour plus benefits. This role involves driving and testing autonomous vehicles on public roads, monitoring vehicle performance, and remaining ready to take control when needed. The driver will follow all traffic laws and safety procedures, complete daily vehicle inspections, record driving observations, and communicate with various teams. Safely responding to unexpected situations is also a key part of the role.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. Driver's License (3+ years)
• Clean driving record
• No DUI, DWI, or drug/alcohol-related offenses within the last 5 years
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Quick decision-making and reaction skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable driving in varying weather and traffic conditions

Nice To Haves

• Autonomous vehicle, EV, or professional driving experience
• Rideshare driving (Uber, Lyft, Taxi, Delivery Apps)
• Driving instructor or safety-focused driving background
• Knowledge of vehicle technology or control systems
• Defensive driving certification
