Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or other related field required.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Python, C++, or similar programming language required.
  • ROS2 architecture required.
  • Autonomy stacks such as NAV2.
  • Understand sensor fusion (GPS, IMU, LiDAR, camera).
  • Experience working with real-time embedded or robotic systems.
  • Hands-on debugging and tuning in real-world environments.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • ROS2 (C++/Python) and robotics system integration.
  • Navigation algorithms (A*, DWA, Pure Pursuit, MPC).
  • RTK GPS integration and localization techniques.
  • Vehicle control systems (CAN, drive-by-wire).
  • Simulation integration (Isaac Sim / Gazebo).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain vehicle localization architecture utilizing GNSS/RTK, LiDAR, visual localization, inertial navigation, and sensor fusion techniques.
  • Develop behavior planning, motion planning, and vehicle control algorithms for autonomous navigation.
  • Optimize computational performance, latency, and resource utilization on embedded computer platforms.
  • Develop and maintain system requirements, interface specifications, and validation plans.
  • Integrate autonomous hardware and software with vehicle electrical, controls, and sensor systems.
  • Ensure the system performs reliably in real-world field conditions and support field testing and debugging.
  • Work with cross functional leads such as product strategy to help define features and product requirements.
