About The Position

The Automotive Wash Bay Technician is responsible for washing vehicles using pressure washers and automatic washers, removing trash from interiors, cleaning upholstery and surfaces, applying wax and sealant, and refurbishing headlights. This role also involves maintaining the organization's standard and quality of service, understanding and fulfilling customer requirements, inspecting vehicles thoroughly for pre-delivery, and ensuring the proper function of all service tools and equipment. The position operates primarily in a garage or outdoor environment within a team-based, fast-paced setting, with potential requirements to work at other job sites. Weekend availability is expected.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbishing headlights.
Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
Inspecting the vehicles thoroughly for pre delivery.
Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
