About The Position

The Automotive Wash Bay Technician is responsible for ensuring vehicles are clean and presentable, both inside and out. This role involves using various cleaning tools and agents to wash, detail, and apply protective treatments to vehicles. The technician must maintain a high standard of service quality, meet customer-specific requirements, and perform thorough pre-delivery inspections. Additionally, the technician is expected to maintain the proper function of all service tools and equipment and assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
Positive attitude.

Previous detail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Apply wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbishing headlights.
Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
Inspecting the vehicles thoroughly for pre delivery.
Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
