About The Position

The Automotive Wash Bay Technician is responsible for washing vehicles using pressure washers and automatic washers. This role also involves cleaning the interior of vehicles, including upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, and applying wax and protective sealants to the auto body to preserve shine. The technician will also be responsible for refurbishing headlights, maintaining the quality of service, understanding and meeting customer requirements, inspecting vehicles thoroughly for pre-delivery, and ensuring the proper function of all service tools and equipment. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by a manager.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
Positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
Apply protective sealant.
Refurbishing headlights.
Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
Inspecting the vehicles thoroughly for pre delivery.
Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
Other responsibilities provided by manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
