About The Position

Hillsborough Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Vehicle Exchange Specialist to join our team. The Vehicle Exchange Specialist will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and maximizing sales opportunities.

Requirements

Experience in automotive sales or customer service
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Knowledge of automotive products, features, and market trends
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
Must pass pre-employment background screenings

Responsibilities

Interact with customers interested in exchanging their current vehicles for newer models
Build rapport, understand customer needs, and provide information on available options
Conduct thorough appraisals of customers' current vehicles, assessing their condition and market value
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the benefits of upgrading to new or different vehicles
Negotiate terms, pricing, and trade-in values to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
Assist customers with the necessary paperwork and documentation related to the vehicle exchange process
Build lasting relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
All other duties assigned
