About The Position

Toyota of Iowa City is hiring a Full-Time Valet / Automotive Porter to join their team. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekends off. The role is ideal for individuals seeking steady hours and opportunities for growth within the automotive industry. No prior dealership experience is required, but dependability, a willingness to stay active, and a commitment to customer service are essential. The job involves working with various vehicles, assisting customers, and supporting the dealership team.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable driving and parking a variety of vehicles safely
• Ability to stay active and work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed

Nice To Haves

• Previous valet, automotive porter, dealership, or customer service experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a friendly, professional first impression
• Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles throughout the dealership
• Assist with organizing and staging vehicles for the sales and service departments
• Shuttle customers to and from the dealership as needed
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional dealership lot
• Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and other team members to keep daily operations running smoothly
• Assist with additional automotive porter and valet responsibilities as needed
