About The Position

PM Lube, Inc. is seeking a qualified Automotive VA State Safety and Emissions Inspector. This role involves conducting state inspections ethically and in accordance with all relevant guidelines. The inspector will also observe vehicle conditions during basic services, report potential repair needs, maintain shop cleanliness, and adhere to all safety procedures. Technicians with an E.R.T. (Emissions Repair Certification) have the potential to earn up to $45.00 Flat Rate.

Requirements

• Must have/maintain VA State Safety and Emissions Inspector License
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Have effective interpersonal and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Technician with E.R.T. (Emissions Repair Certification) – earn up to $45.00 Flat Rate!

Responsibilities

• Conducts State Safety and Emissions Inspections on vehicles in an ethical manner, and following all Virginia State Police, Virginia DEQ, and company guidelines
• Observes general vehicle condition while performing basic services, and reports any obvious repair needs or safety concerns to the Service Manager
• Maintains shop cleanliness for a clean and inviting appearance
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Service Manager
• Comply with established safety programs, including wearing protective eyewear
