Requirements

Experience working with automotive electrical systems
Experience working with automotive mechanical systems
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Constructive team player
Positive attitude
Detail-oriented and focused on quality workmanship

Nice To Haves

Relevant training, experience and/or Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certification

Responsibilities

Perform all upfitting tasks, including installing equipment to modify vehicles into police and emergency vehicles.
Route and install wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, component trays, and consoles.
Disassemble and reassemble factory vehicles.
Read drawings, including electrical schematics with limited help.
Work independently, maintain accurate records, find efficiencies while respecting quality, and contributing ideas to the company.
