Requirements
- Automotive and automatic transmission experience is required.
- Must have certifications such as ASE, General Motors, or other relevant training completion certificates.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to safely lift and operate heavy equipment.
- Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.
Responsibilities
- Properly diagnose and repair automatic transmission issues up to complete rebuilds if necessary.
- Appropriately document the condition, cause, remedy on repair orders so proper documentation compliance is achieved.
- Stay up to date with repair manual instructions, software reprogramming, and individual training.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
