Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Automotive Transmission Technician.
• Strong knowledge of transmission systems, including repair, rebuild, and diagnostics.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential for test-driving and transporting vehicles.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational Training or Certification in automotive transmission repair is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on transmission systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify issues and ensure precise and efficient repairs.
• Deliver accurate, high-quality work to exceed customer expectations and ensure vehicle performance and safety.
• Complete warranty work according to manufacturer specifications to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
• Keep your tools and workspace well-organized and ready for daily operations.
• Balance multiple repair orders while maintaining high standards and minimizing customer downtime.
• Collaborate with service advisors, parts departments, and other technicians to complete jobs efficiently.
• Tackle complex transmission challenges with the support of experienced colleagues and management.
