About The Position

Plaza Motors, a division of fast-growing MileOne Autogroup, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-service-focused Title Specialist to join their team. This role involves processing car deals, verifying costs for the accounting department, and handling the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles. Plaza Motors serves a high-line clientele in the automotive space.

Requirements

Two+ years of related experience and/or training with automotive titling.
Automotive Dealership experience preferred.
Basic MS Office knowledge.
Computer software proficiency.
Internet proficiency.
General mathematics skills.

Responsibilities

Processes car deals.
Verifies costs for the accounting department.
Handles the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts.
Computes and records charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges, etc.
Prepares tax and title documents for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
Assists in preparing ULC auction list.
Researches all stock numbers for close outs and titles.
Calls on lien releases.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
