About The Position
Main Street Auto (Fryer’s Automotive, LaGrange, GA) is looking for a skilled, motivated Automotive Tire Technician who’s ready to take the next step in their automotive career. If you enjoy hands‑on work, take pride in quality workmanship, and want a stable Monday–Friday schedule, this is a great opportunity to join a respected, technician‑forward repair shop. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Tire Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our customers safe on the road by providing quality tire services in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to safely operate shop tools and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good time‑management and ability to work efficiently
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Tire & Lube Technician
Responsibilities
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires
- Ensure proper installation and torque procedures are followed
- Perform basic maintenance services (oil changes, fluid checks, etc.) as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow shop safety standards and company procedures
- Communicate service recommendations to team members and customers
