About The Position

Fountain Tire Leduc, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe, and dedicated associates to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician! We offer experienced Automotive Tire Technician wages of $20-$26 per hour + labour bonus, and entry-level Automotive Tire Technician wages of $17-$22 per hour + labour bonus. You will have the opportunity to work with an excellent team and great customers in a clean, safe, and respectful environment. This role offers regular full time day shifts, with opportunities for overtime during our busy seasons (spring and fall). You will also receive discounts for you and your family on tires, parts, and services at all Fountain Tire locations. There is an opportunity for growth into apprenticeships and leadership positions, with the potential to own your own Fountain Tire store.

Requirements

  • Experienced Automotive Tire Technician: 2+ years of experience in the automotive/tire industry is required
  • A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
  • A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
  • A keen attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms

Nice To Haves

  • Entry-level Automotive Tire Technician: Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
  • Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
  • Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
  • The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
