About The Position

Technicians are responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This is a full-time position with a 3-day rotating workweek, operating from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM. The schedule alternates monthly between Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday and Thursday/Friday/Saturday. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants.

Requirements

Previous work as an Automotive Technician; or Graduation from an accredited Automotive Repair program.
Valid, and active, in-state drivers license.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both verbal and written.
Ability to operate smartphone, tablet and/or PC.

Responsibilities

Receive repair orders from Service Advisors and perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
Communicate with the Parts department to obtain needed parts.
Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required and inform Service Advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
Document all work performed.
Road-test vehicles when required.
Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean.
Keep shop area neat and clean as well as be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times.
