Requirements
- Previous automotive repair experience required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
- Commitment to producing quality repairs and outstanding customer service
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
Nice To Haves
- GM dealership experience is a plus but not required
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance according to repair orders and manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems
- Test-drive vehicles and utilize GM diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose concerns
- Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently and accurately
- Complete multi-point inspections and recommend additional maintenance when needed
- Communicate repair needs and estimated completion times with Service Advisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
