About The Position

Land Rover Troy Jaguar Land Rover Troy is hiring experienced service technicians to perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. Technicians work in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards, applicable safety requirements, and company procedures. The position requires the ability to diagnose and repair multiple vehicle systems, road-test vehicles, document completed work, and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics’ tools. Requirements

Class B technicians must have at least 3 years of experience; Class C technicians must have at least 5 years of experience.
Current ASE and state certifications.
Diagnostic and repair capabilities across multiple vehicle systems and tools.
Proficiency in engine and transmission repair and maintenance, and electrical and drivability diagnostics.
Ability to independently perform brake, suspension, and steering repairs.
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately according to Lithia and manufacturer standards.
Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and complete work in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
Road-test vehicles to verify the quality of repair work.
Document work performed on repair orders and record test procedures, results, and time according to company recording and clocking procedures.
Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics’ tools.
