About The Position

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician to join their team in Thornton, CO. This role involves performing vehicle repair and maintenance on pre-owned vehicles up to 12 years old, in a collaborative and casual work environment. The technician will be responsible for a variety of tasks including inspections, brake and tire work, suspension, AC repair, and light line work, with occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission removal/installation.

Requirements

Must be state-certified where applicable
At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification
Own a set of tools
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
High school diploma or the equivalent
Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
Respect for teammates and a positive outlook

Responsibilities

Performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Inspecting and repairing a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.
Conducting 190 Point Vehicle Inspections.
Performing lube, filter, and flushes.
Conducting brake system and tire repair.
Performing suspension and alignment work.
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle drivability issues.
Performing Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair.
Performing Light Line work to include – Gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pumps, and alternators.
Performing occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission removal and installation (no rebuilds or overhauls).
