About The Position

Wyatt Johnson Ford, a Hudson Automotive Company, is actively seeking Experienced Automotive Technicians to join our award-winning, high-volume service team. Hudson Automotive Group, founded in 1948, is a third-generation, family-owned & operated business proudly serving customers with all their automotive needs. Hudson Automotive has grown from a single location in Providence, KY to a multi-state, multi-franchise organization with 54 dealerships and more than 4,500 employees throughout 8 States concentrated in the Southeast. Our high-volume shop has steady customer traffic and consistent repair orders to maximize flag hours. Requirements

  • Previous professional automotive technician experience required
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to efficiently produce quality flat-rate hours
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to ongoing training and professional development

Nice To Haves

  • Ford Automotive Experience Preferred
  • Honda dealership experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair gasoline, hybrid, and electrical vehicle systems
  • Perform repairs according to Ford and dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles and utilize manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  • Perform Video Multi-Point Inspections (Video MPIs) on every vehicle to clearly communicate vehicle condition and repair recommendations to customers
  • Communicate repair recommendations and additional service needs with Service Advisors
  • Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
  • Accurately document repair procedures and findings on repair orders
  • Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship
  • Participate in Ford manufacturer training and certification programs
  • Stay current on manufacturer technical service bulletins
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Properly care for dealership tools and equipment
  • Follow OSHA, environmental, and dealership safety procedures
  • Report safety concerns immediately to management
