About The Position

Group 1 Cadillac Duluth is seeking Automotive Technicians to perform repairs and diagnostics in a professional, well-equipped dealership shop. The role offers access to state-of-the-art facilities, ongoing OEM training, provided equipment, consistent work, flat-rate earnings, and opportunities for career growth. Compensation is based on experience and may include bonuses. Paid, self-paced training can lead to manufacturer and Group 1 recognition.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of automotive technician experience performing complex repairs and diagnostics.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license in the state of employment and a good driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Must pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Dealership experience is preferred.
• ASE certifications in specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems, or engine performance are strongly preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and test automotive systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Keep service advisors informed about repair status and estimated completion times so they can communicate with customers.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Uphold company values in interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
