Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of automotive components, fluids, and engine accessories.
• Data entry and diagnostic skills; familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to identify engine performance issues and seek help when needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with assistance; work in high-noise, heat, and fume environments.
• Ability to use both hand and power tools, monitor multiple tests, and work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Secure and release test vehicles on stands for testing.
• Refuel vehicles and perform basic maintenance (e.g., coolant hoses, wipers, tire pressure).
• Collect fluid samples (oil, fuel, coolant, water) as needed.
• Use hand held scanners to check and interpret diagnostic codes.
• Communicate with supervisors, management, and project managers.
• Check and adjust fluid levels; record test data.
• Monitor test stands and perform maintenance on stands and vehicles.
• Document vehicle performance issues and follow detailed work orders.
• Keep work areas clean per safety and environmental guidelines.
