About The Position
Lithia Toyota of Billings is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their team. This role involves performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards, diagnosing malfunctions, and ensuring the quality of repair work through road testing. The technician will also be responsible for documenting all work performed and maintaining an inventory of necessary tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of automotive technician experience in a dealership or high volume shop
- ASE and manufacturer certification is not required
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose cause of malfunction.
- Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
- Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results and time, per company recording and clocking procedures.
- Provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools.
