We're looking for an experienced Diagnostic/Heavy Line Automotive Technician who takes pride in solving complex vehicle issues and delivering quality repairs the first time. In this role, you'll diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns on Ford vehicles. You will perform maintenance and repairs efficiently while meeting Ford and dealership quality standards. You will use factory diagnostic equipment and technical resources to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues. You will complete thorough multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or safety recommendations. You will communicate repair findings and recommendations with Service Advisors to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with the Parts Department to keep repairs moving efficiently. You will accurately document diagnostics, repairs, warranty information, and labor operations. You will road test vehicles as needed to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship. You will mentor apprentice technicians and help foster a collaborative team environment. You will participate in ongoing Ford factory training and stay current with the latest technology, repair procedures, and technical service bulletins. You will maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all dealership and safety policies. You will treat every customer's vehicle with the professionalism and care you would expect for your own.
