About The Position

CMA Honda is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join their growing team. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Honda vehicles, ensuring high-quality customer service and adherence to Honda standards. Advanced responsibilities are available for Level A and Master Technicians, including complex diagnostics, major repairs, and mentoring junior technicians.

Requirements

3+ years of automotive repair experience preferred (Level B Technicians).
5+ years of advanced automotive repair and diagnostic experience (Level A / Master Technicians).
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic abilities.
Experience with brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and engine repair.
Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic skills (Level A / Master Technicians).
Experience with major engine and transmission repair (Level A / Master Technicians).
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

ASE Certifications preferred.
Honda experience is a plus.
Honda dealership experience preferred (Level A / Master Technicians).
ASE Master Certification and/or Honda Master Certification preferred (Level A / Master Technicians).

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns.
Repair brake, steering, suspension, HVAC, engine, and transmission systems.
Perform factory-recommended maintenance services.
Use Honda diagnostic equipment and repair information systems.
Complete warranty repairs according to Honda standards.
Conduct vehicle inspections and document recommended repairs.
Verify repairs through testing and quality checks.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Participate in Honda training and certification programs.
Diagnose complex electrical and network communication concerns (Level A & Master Technicians).
Perform major engine and transmission repairs (Level A & Master Technicians).
Troubleshoot hybrid and advanced vehicle systems (Level A & Master Technicians).
Mentor and support developing technicians (Level A & Master Technicians).
Assist with shop quality control and difficult diagnostic cases (Level A & Master Technicians).
