Requirements

2-5 years of Automotive Technician experience required
Experience using diagnostic equipment, alignment systems, tire equipment, and A/C service equipment
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding production goals
Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on delivering a high level of customer service
Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and stay up to date with rapidly changing automotive technology
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing
High school diploma or the equivalent and two-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair processes
Outstanding attention to detail with a commitment to quality
Ability to use technical reference materials and technical manuals in written and online formats
Ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical audience
Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety
Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize

Nice To Haves

ASE Certification preferred
State Inspection and Emissions License preferred
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and two-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ASE Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning systems
Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately
Complete troubleshooting, inspections, and diagnostic testing
Provide labor estimates and repair recommendations
Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and management
Propose practical and cost-effective solutions to vehicle and process-related issues
Ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time
Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repair quality
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair procedures
