About The Position
Chuck's Auto Parts Solutions is seeking motivated automotive technicians to professionally dismantle late-model cars and trucks, removing valuable components that help keep other vehicles on the road. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working on vehicles, solving problems, and maximizing their earning potential, without the customer service, warranty work, or stress often found in traditional repair shops. Previous experience as a technician, mechanic, lube tech, body tech, or a strong automotive enthusiasm is beneficial.
Requirements
- Automotive repair, dismantling, salvage yard, collision repair, or mechanical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and shop equipment
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Own basic mechanic tools
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Professionally dismantle vehicles while preserving high-quality recycled parts
- Remove engines, transmissions, differentials, body panels, suspension components, and other valuable assemblies
- Identify, inspect, and document parts for resale
- Operate vehicle lifts, hoists, and shop equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work as part of a team focused on safety, quality, and productivity
