About The Position

Christian Brothers Automotive is looking for strong, energetic, and upbeat technicians/mechanics with a positive attitude who seek solutions to tough problems and are passionate about doing what’s right for our guests. Technicians will use their knowledge and skills to diagnose and fix vehicles, continuously build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections, and work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively. They will also follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization, and work closely with the service department to effectively communicate concerns. Technicians will collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results. All CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools, a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support, and access to a private Technician Assistance Center.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
Meet or exceed hourly goals
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
Professional appearance and strong communication
Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
Drive manual transmissions vehicles
Efficiently navigate a computer

Responsibilities
