Requirements
- Proficient in automotive repairs
- Able to troubleshoot basic automotive concerns
- Able to communicate the causes and recommended corrections for vehicle issues
- Able to meet metric performance targets
- Able to learn and operate basic computer systems
- Organized and punctual
- Maintain a safe and compliant workspace
- Able to learn and comply with all DriveTime standards
- Must be able to communicate in English to ensure effective performance in a safety-sensitive and technical environment
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and performing advanced vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Performing emissions testing (where applicable)
- Vehicle movement
- Inventory management
- Repair documentation
- Computer utilization
- Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on multiple makes and models of DriveTime inventory vehicles
- Explain automotive repairs and issues to management to minimize re-work and delays in production
- Proper documentation of all work performed in DriveTime systems
- Keep area clean and organized to maintain the highest level of safety and compliance
