About The Position

Hunter Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles while working closely with our Service Advisors and fellow technicians to provide a quality customer experience.

Requirements

1–2 years of main shop automotive technician experience required.
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical concerns.
Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Own professional set of tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience with multiple vehicle makes and models is a plus.
ASE certifications and factory training are a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance and more complex mechanical repairs.
Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service information to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
Complete repairs according to manufacturer standards and dealership procedures.
Communicate vehicle needs and repair recommendations with Service Advisors.
Work closely with other technicians and dealership departments to maintain an efficient workflow.
Help ensure repairs are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
Maintain high standards for workmanship and productivity.
Stay current with automotive technology, repair procedures, and training.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
