About The Position

Autos of Chicago is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join our growing service department. We are a high-volume independent dealership with over 500 vehicles in inventory. We are looking for motivated technicians who take pride in their work, can accurately diagnose and repair vehicles, and want the opportunity to earn a strong income in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous automotive technician experience required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own tools required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications are a plus
• Experience with European, Domestic, and Import vehicles preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
• Complete maintenance and repair work according to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose drivability, electrical, suspension, engine, and transmission concerns
• Perform vehicle reconditioning and used car inspections
• Accurately document repair recommendations and completed work
• Maintain productivity and quality standards
• Follow all safety procedures and shop policies
