About The Position

J.B.A. Automotive is seeking a motivated Automotive Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles in their dealership service department. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and values team dynamics. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive systems using electronic diagnostic equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work well in a team‑oriented, customer‑focused environment
• Familiarity using basic computer skills and repair software

Nice To Haves

• 1 or more years of professional automotive technician experience
• ASE certifications or willing to obtain
• A‑level experience including diagnostics, electrical systems, or engine repair
• Familiarity with modern vehicle technology and dealership service operations
• Strong customer communicate and service skills

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and any other concerns using electronic diagnostic tools.
• Repair vehicle systems including but not limited to engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Test drive vehicles and verify repairs to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Communicate repair findings and additional service needs clearly with service advisors.
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Stay current on new vehicle technology and repair procedures.
