About The Position

This position is responsible for the comprehensive servicing and repair of the University of Alberta's owned vehicles. This encompasses a diverse range of units, including passenger cars, vans, hybrid vehicles, buses, trailers and trucks, ranging from Class 1 to Class 7. Essential duties also include the execution of commercial vehicle inspections, the procurement of necessary parts, the management of work orders, and the provision of technical guidance to supervisors, colleagues, and other University staff.

Requirements

• Internal candidates and former employees of the University of Alberta will be given priority consideration.
• Must be able to work in-person at North Campus and South Campus, Edmonton.
• Experience with servicing and repairing a diverse range of vehicles including passenger cars, vans, hybrid vehicles, buses, trailers, and trucks (Class 1 to Class 7).
• Experience with commercial vehicle inspections.
• Ability to procure necessary parts.
• Ability to manage work orders.
• Ability to provide technical guidance.
