About The Position

Glendale Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is hiring experienced Automotive Technicians in St. Louis, Missouri. Technicians from any manufacturer or independent repair shop are welcome; Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, or Ram experience is not required. The role offers competitive flat-rate pay of up to $50 per hour, potential signing bonuses up to $3,500, weekly efficiency bonuses, and a rotating schedule of four 10-hour workdays with five consecutive days off every three weeks. The service department operates Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 6 PM, with Sundays off and no late-night shifts.

The dealership describes a high-volume Stellantis service department with a steady workflow and approximately 60% customer-pay repair orders. The shop is air-conditioned and has well-maintained equipment. The position is union, with company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for the technician and family, a company-paid pension plan, an available 401(k), and company-paid Stellantis training.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
• Ability to accurately diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles.
• Take pride in producing quality work.
• Effective communication with service advisors and team members.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document completed repairs.
• Willingness to continue learning and developing skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Technical automotive training or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to meet applicable post-conditional-offer background check and drug-testing requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Stellantis certifications are a plus but are not required.
• Experience with any vehicle manufacturer or an independent repair shop is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive concerns.
• Perform routine maintenance and complex mechanical repairs.
• Inspect vehicles and identify recommended repairs.
• Communicate findings and additional repair needs to service advisors.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify proper operation and completed repairs.
• Install dealer-specified accessories and properly document work.
