About The Position
North Star Chevrolet West Liberty Ave, the only Chevrolet dealership in Pittsburgh, is expanding and actively seeking skilled and dedicated Automotive Technicians. The ideal candidate will take pride in their workmanship, have a strong passion for fixing things right the first time, and possess the mindset to always provide exceptional service to customers. This is an opportunity to earn $75,000 to $120,000+ per year, with double-digit shop growth year over year.
Requirements
- Must have PA State and Emissions License
- Must have valid PA Drivers License
- GM experience gets you to the front of the line
- Strong diagnostic skills in any domestic/import line
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues accurately and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion of jobs

- 3% year end bonus
- Tiered Flat Rate Bonus (45-49.9 hrs = $1.00/hr, 50-54.9 hrs = $2.00/hr, 55-59.9 hrs = $3.00/hr, 60+ hrs = $4.00/hr)
- Additional $2.00/hr on internal engine work and electrical diagnostic and repairs
- Additional $3.00/hr for transmission repairs and diesel repairs
- Part of the GM Technician Excellence Program ($2,000 - $6,000/year extra for GM Technicians)
