Automotive Technician C-Level
About The Position
We are seeking C-Level Automotive Technicians to join our team as Recon Technicians. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills, increase their flag hours, and advance to a B-Level Technician. The C-Level Automotive Recon Technician performs essential maintenance and repair tasks, assists senior technicians, and plays a key role in preparing vehicles for sale through our reconditioning process. We are not expecting C-Level Technicians to diagnose every difficult problem or perform major engine and transmission work independently. Instead, we are looking for someone who can consistently complete basic repairs correctly, work efficiently, show up every day, and demonstrates a strong desire to become a better technician. This is a full-time position with guaranteed hours and performance bonus potential, offering a clear path for career advancement within a growing, family-oriented company.
Requirements
- Basic automotive repair knowledge
- Previous shop experience preferred
- Ability to safely use lifts, hand tools, and basic shop equipment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
- Own basic set of automotive tools
Nice To Haves
- Currently working as a lube technician, tire technician, mechanic's helper, or entry-level automotive technician and are ready to move to the next level
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine maintenance
- Replace brakes, rotors, batteries, bulbs, and filters
- Perform tire replacement, rotation, and balancing
- Complete basic suspension and steering repairs
- Perform fluid services and other preventative maintenance
- Assist senior technicians with larger repairs
- Perform basic vehicle inspections
- Identify obvious safety and mechanical concerns
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow shop procedures and safety standards
- Help prepare vehicles for sale through our reconditioning process
