About The Position

EchoPark Automotive is one of the fastest growing brands within the automotive industry, building a business based on doing things the right way. The company is hiring an Automotive Technician to join their team in New Braunfels, TX. This role offers guaranteed pay and a very collaborative and casual work environment, different from a traditional "dog eat dog" shop. The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Technicians inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old. To excel in this service role, excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail are required.

Requirements

• Must be state certified where applicable
• At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification
• Own a set of tools
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
• Respect for teammates and positive outlook

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards
• Inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old
• 190 Point Vehicle Inspection
• Lube, filter, flushes
• Brake system and tire repair
• Suspension and alignments
• Vehicle Drivability
• Air Conditioning Diagnosis and Repair
• Gasket and Seal Repairs
