This role offers a steady flow of customer-pay and warranty work, a climate-controlled shop, and a commitment to technician development. Requirements
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Customer-focused attitude and professional demeanor
- Self-motivated, dependable, and coachable
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
Nice To Haves
- Volkswagen or other manufacturer dealership experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Performing repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Diagnosing vehicle concerns using advanced diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Test-driving vehicles and evaluating vehicle systems and components
- Repairing engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC systems, and other vehicle components
- Communicating repair recommendations and additional service needs with Service Advisors
- Providing accurate repair timelines and documentation
- Completing warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Collaborating with the Parts Department to ensure efficient repair completion
- Maintaining productivity while delivering quality workmanship
- Keeping a clean, organized, and safe work environment
