About The Position
The role of the technician is to test, inspect, and repair vehicles, documenting pertinent information along the way so the advising team and guests can make informed decisions. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first. All 300+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. CBA shops also offer their technicians a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support, and access to our private Technician Assistance Center.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve our guests
- 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- High computer literacy level
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certifications highly preferred
- Flashing and programming skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Test and inspect vehicles for failures
- Recommend repairs of documented findings
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns
- Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
