Requirements
- Previous professional automotive repair experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid understanding of modern vehicle systems.
- Ability to efficiently diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Own basic hand tools appropriate for the position.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- STELLANTIS certifications are preferred and may qualify for additional compensation.
- Manufacturer certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns.
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, HVAC, engine, transmission, drivetrain, and electrical repairs.
- Use factory and aftermarket diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
- Perform quality-control inspections before vehicles are returned to customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology and manufacturer repair procedures.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and other members of the dealership team.
- Maintain professional standards for workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
