About The Position

EchoPark Automotive is hiring an Automotive Technician to join their team in Thornton, CO. This role offers a collaborative and casual work environment, differing from traditional "dog-eat-dog" shops. The technician will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance on a variety of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old, including inspections, lube services, brake and tire work, suspension and alignments, A/C diagnosis and repair, and light line work. Occasional heavy line, engine, and transmission removal and installation may be required, but no rebuilds or overhauls.

Requirements

State-certified where applicable
At least 6 months of previous Automotive Mechanic experience, or Auto Tech School certification
Own a set of tools
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
High school diploma or the equivalent
Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow directions and willingness to learn
Respect for teammates and a positive outlook

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Inspect and repair a wide range of pre-owned makes and models up to 12 years old.
Conduct 190 Point Vehicle Inspections.
Perform lube, filter, and flush services.
Conduct brake system and tire repair.
Perform suspension and alignment services.
Diagnose and repair vehicle drivability issues.
Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems.
Perform light line work, including gasket and seal repairs, component replacement, water pumps, and alternators.
Occasionally perform heavy line, engine, and transmission removal and installation (no rebuilds or overhauls).
