About The Position
Our service department is seeking a seasoned technician capable of diagnosing and repairing today’s increasingly complex vehicles. If you have deep technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting ability, and experience with manufacturer-level systems, this is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking dealership environment. This role requires independent problem-solving skills along with the ability to support and elevate the performance of the entire shop.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional technician experience
- Factory certification (Ford/Lincoln strongly preferred)
- Proficiency with IDS, FDRS, or comparable OEM tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Diagnose advanced drivability and electrical concerns
- Perform major mechanical repairs including engine and transmission work
- Conduct hybrid and electric vehicle system diagnostics
- Complete manufacturer warranty repairs per guidelines
- Execute control module programming and system updates
- Support junior technicians with technical insight
- Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate repair documentation
- Maintain clean, organized work habits and efficient repair times
