About The Position
North Star Chevrolet West Liberty Ave, the only Chevrolet dealership in Pittsburgh, is expanding and actively seeking skilled and dedicated Automotive Technicians. The ideal candidate will take pride in their workmanship with a strong passion for fixing it right the first time, and the mind set to always provide exceptional service to our customers. This is an opportunity to earn $75,000 to $120,000+ per year, with double-digit shop growth year over year.
Requirements
- GM experience gets you to the front of the line
- Strong diagnostic skills in any domestic/import line gets you a seat at the table
- PA State and Emissions License
- Valid PA Drivers License

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues accurately and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion of jobs
- Must have PA State and Emissions License
- Must have valid PA Drivers License

- 3% year end bonus
- Tiered Flat Rate Bonus (45 to 59.9 hours = $1.00-$3.00 extra per hour, 60+ hours = $4.00 extra per hour)
- Additional pay for internal engine work, electrical diagnostic and repairs ($2.00/hr)
- Additional pay for transmission repairs and diesel repairs ($3.00/hr)
- GM Technician Excellence Program ($2,000 - $6,000 per year for GM Technicians)
