About The Position
Langdale Honda is seeking an experienced automotive technician to join their team. This role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cars and light trucks, providing mechanical support for the automobile dealership. The technician will work in a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned shop and will be responsible for their own tools and knowledgeable in electrical and diagnostic equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-year experience
- Provide own tools
- Knowledgeable in electrical and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass a drug test and background check
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve parts required for repair
- Review repair orders
- Follow warranty guidelines
- Notify supervisor of any repair add-ons
- Road test vehicles when necessary to ensure a quality repair
- Maintain current knowledge of the job and technical skills including manufacturer’s repair process
- Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy by dealership and factory standards
- Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs
