About The Position
This is a part-time trainee position focused on providing tire and automotive services. The goal is for the trainee to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to work independently and become a successful automotive technician. The company is family-owned and operated with a history of 50 years.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Have a valid drivers license, acceptable driving history and access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to at least 50lbs, often repetitively.
- Must be able to adapt to severe climate variances.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
- Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.
Responsibilities
- Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services, and multi-point inspections notating conditions that exist on vehicles.
- Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Work with fellow associates as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Any additional duties assigned by the store Manager.
