About The Position

This is a part-time trainee position for an Automotive Technician at a family-owned and operated business for the past 50 years. The primary goal is to provide timely and error-free tire and automotive services, with the trainee gaining the knowledge and experience needed to work independently and become a successful automotive technician. The company offers employee discounts and a referral bonus, with no late evenings, short Saturdays, and no Sundays.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Have a valid drivers license, acceptable driving history and access to reliable transportation
Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to at least 50lbs, often repetitively.
Must be able to adapt to severe climate variances.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services, and multi-point inspections notating conditions that exist on vehicles.
Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
Work with fellow associates as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
Any additional duties assigned by the store Manager.
