The Detroit Garage in Livonia, Michigan, is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to perform a wide range of automotive maintenance and repair services. With 10 locations throughout Metro Detroit, The Detroit Garage provides the highest-quality automotive services to its customers and is changing the way people think about auto repair. We offer highly competitive pay for the Automotive Technician position, up to $99,500 (including a guaranteed salary), plus a signing bonus of up to $8,000, depending on ASE certifications and level of mechanical experience.

Requirements

State of Michigan Mechanic Certification; (ASE Certifications strongly preferred)
3+ years of industry experience
Valid driver's license
Strong passion for completing quality work and providing exceptional customer service
Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostics and inspections of customer vehicles.
Perform auto repairs, including but not limited to brakes, steering and suspension, alignments, tire installation/repair, minor engine repair, air conditioning, and fluid exchanges.
Provide the highest quality repairs.
Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
