Automotive Technician / Mechanic | Up to $45/HR & Weekends Off| Bolingbrook
About The Position
We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are energetic and have a positive attitude. The technicians need to seek solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first. All 300+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. CBA shops also offer their technicians a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support and access to our private Technician Assistance Center.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve Customers
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Basic computer & internet competency
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles
- Continuously build experience as an Automotive Technician across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to solve Guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with Management and Advisors to effectively communicate to Guests
