About The Position
We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first. All 300+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. CBA shops also offer their technicians a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support and access to our private Technician Assistance Center.
Requirements
- 5+ years, experienced A-Level Diagnostic Technician
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to work through a problem logically
- A positive attitude and strong team mindset, taking pride in delivering honest service and high-quality workmanship to ensure zero comebacks.
- Willingness to mentor other Team members.
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certifications a plus, or a plan to achieve (we reimburse for certifications)
Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle concerns using systematic diagnostic processes and advanced scan tools.
- Perform high-quality repairs across domestic and Asian/European vehicles.
- Take ownership of repairs from diagnosis through completion, with a focus on quality and minimal comebacks.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors and other Technicians to communicate findings, solve problems, and keep repairs moving.
- Mentor and support other Technicians, sharing diagnostic knowledge and helping build a stronger team.
