About The Position
Hyundai of Kirkland is rapidly expanding and actively seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join their Service Department. The dealership has a recently remodeled facility with 24 fully equipped service stalls, offering a modern and efficient work environment. Each technician is guaranteed a dedicated bay, and all manufacturer-required special tools are provided. The dealership is committed to supporting career development and ongoing training, offering both Hyundai online and in-person factory training. Online courses are paid, and 8 hours of compensation are provided for each day of in-person training. They also aim to be flexible with schedules and offer financial support during training. Requirements
- 1-3 years automotive repair/diagnostic experience
- Hyundai Certified mandatory
- Driver’s License
- Personal Tools
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
Responsibilities
- Diagnose automotive problems as they arise
- Conduct inspections, repair engine failure, repair mechanical and electrical systems, replace parts
- Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout repair/servicing process
- Warranty and recall work
- Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team
